Do Not Be Afraid Of Rejection, Find Out Why!

Rejections are painful, right? There are some people who fears rejection simply because it hurts and it feels like you are somewhat downgraded.

That's how I feel every time I get rejections. Good news is, there is a way that we could fight this.
Back in the late 1970, Apple was shining as bright as it would. With Apple selling Personal Computers, it managed to earn a profit and started the computer business.

Unfortunately not all that shines is gold. In the 1980, Apple began to face hardships. Competitions grew and Apple was not safe from it. IBM took nearly half of Apples market.

Jobs effort to turn things around was not that successful. After having introduced newer products against the competition, it just did not attract the market.

Jobs and the company was in big trouble. With unbelievable turn of events, Apple kicked out Steve Jobs as CEO. Could you believe it? The very person who grew Apple got kicked out by his own company.

Jobs did not stop there. He created his own company named NeXT, unfortunately the company did not make enough money to keep the company afloat. Jobs instead changed the focus from hardware to software.

AND he also focused on his other company, PIXAR. Amid all the hardships, PIXAR struck a deal with WALT DISNEY and came out with the first animated film ever, TOY STORY. It was 4 years in the making.

Toy Story was a huge success not only in film but also financially. Everything was going right for Jobs. The next thing you know, Apple bought NeXT from Jobs and reinstated Jobs as CEO of Apple.

The rest is history, Apple created it flagship devices. The IPOD, IPAD and the ever famous IPHONE.

Friends, are you facing rejection right now? Have you just been rejected? It could be that you got rejected by your dream job, you got rejected by your prospect or you got rejected by someone who you are courting.

Do not get discouraged! Rejection is one way of God's redirection in your life! If Steve Jobs did not experience all of those, would we have the IPhone?

When you are rejected, it means that something better is coming your way. It means that what you want now is not the best. God has something else for you, something bigger in store for you!

For single people, not going right? Don't worry, it means that someone better and even more good looking is coming our way!

Failing in business? Don't worry, something better and bigger will come your way!

Remember, rejection is one way of God's redirection. Every time you get rejected means that something bigger and better is coming your way!

Turn a Deaf Ear to People Who Speaks Against You

We all have dreams and we want to reach them so badly, unfortunately it is not an easy road to take. When ever we want to succeed, trials and obstacles will always be in our way. That includes a lot of negative comments from people, even hating you for doing what you are doing - in other words, these are the noise that we hear against us.

We have to admit, there are a lot of times that we just want to throw in the towel. There are times that we tell ourselves that we cannot do it, that we're a goner. In fact, there are times that I just wanted to give up on a certain dream.

He Kept Failing and Became the President of the United States

Mayor Wamura could not believe his eyes. "When I saw bodies being dug up from the piles of earth, I did not know what to say. I had no words." he mentioned.

This triggered his motivation to do the craziest thing the town had never seen before. He started a project, a seawall so big that it would protect the villagers from any tsunami that would strike.

The town started to build a seawall of 51 feet. Another town had a seawall of 33 feet and this was considered to be very strong and is able to withstand any tsunami but Mayor Wamura had something else in mind.

After having erect the 51 foot seawall, Mayor Wamura was not satisfied, he had to build floodgates and it was as big as the seawall!

Here's the thing, everyone thought that it was a crazy idea. A lot of people thought that it was unnecessary for the mayor or the town to have a seawall as big as that!

He was criticized a lot and considered his project a waste of time and a waste of money! Imagine if you are at the town and you are seeing this happening.

Most probably Mayor Wamura heard these lines: "You crazy old man, you don't need that much! You are just wasting our money!" or "Get a life, don't waste your time on this. It won't work and a huge tsunami won't happen!".

Unbelievable act of Forgiveness

Forgiveness - how easy could you forgive someone? It's difficult right? Don't worry, you are not alone. Forgiveness is never easy, if it was, then we would have world peace at this time. And I have something to share with you, it shocked me the 1st time I saw it, it also encouraged me to forgive.


Gary Ridgway, a known serial killer in the US, admitted to the killing of 71 women and 49 of them were already identified as his victims. He was sentenced to life for 480 years.

When he was interviewed back on 2001, he mentioned that he killed so many that he lost count of it. Most of his victims were either prostitutes or runaways.

He would pick up women and strangle them, throwing the bodies on the woods and would go back to them to have sexual intercourse. One of his victims was the very young Linda Rule who was just 16 years old.



Gary was apprehended on November of 2001 and he was put on a trial. Ridgway confessed to the killings and a verdict was given to him.

On the court trial, family members of the victims were present and as expected, a lot of the family members damned Ridgway. They wished for him to suffer so much is as if they wanted him dead. Who could blame them, for what he has done, who wanted him alive?

But not this man, Robert Rule stood and exactly did the opposite.  Check this video out.


How far could you go and forgive someone? For Mr. Rule, he did something that no one did in that courtroom.

Why? Because he believed in God. He believed in forgiveness.

Matthew 18:21-22

21 Then Peter came and said to Him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” 22 Jesus *said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.

Does anyone need your forgiveness? If Mr. Rule can forgive his daughter's killer, then you can forgive too! It may not be instant but work on it, don't hurry it up. Forgive and start making, if not the world at least yourself better.

The Old Guy that Made Millions

I have often heard that when your old, it's too late. It is too late to get rich, it is too late to be successful, it is to late to do business, a lot of things are becoming too late!

Financially, we should start early so that we could reach our goals on time but being old does not mean that it is hopeless.

How a Pelengke vendor reached success!

I am certainly almost sure that everyone wants to be successful. We want to be rich, we want to be promoted in our jobs, we want to have a business swarmed by customers everyday, we want to have a strong family, you name it, we want to succeed in all of our dreams.

How bad do you want it? How many times have you thought about it? Have you ever imagined yourself on that successful position?

Well let me tell you this, YOU CAN BE SUCCESSFUL! You can be the person that you have ever wanted in your life, you can reach your dreams!

You know what you need? You just need fuel to keep on going, not the fuel for the cars but something to fuel your desire to be successful.

And that fuel is your WHY. Your WHY is your reason to be successful. Why do you want to get rich? Why do you want to be promoted in your job? Why do you want customers to swarm your business everyday? WHY?

You start with your WHY, make it BIG and you are good to go! Let me tell you a story about a woman who made it big because of her BIG WHY.

Let us call her Julia. Julia had 6 children and only the husband worked. With hubby working it all, they lived a pretty comfortable life.

Unfortunately, hubby got diagnosed with liver cancer. Later on, hubby passed away leaving Julia and her 6 children.

Julia could not get an office work because she does not have any degree. One time, she got a part time job but the pay was not sufficient.

Out of no choice, she had to do business. She teamed up with her mom and her Ninang (Godmother) the supplier. They eventually made a small meat shop in the Palengke.


Long story short, her small time meat shop became very successful and was able to support all her 6 children. All of them finished college and became successful. One of her children is named Dean Pax Lapid, the founder of GO NEGOSYO.

Why did she become successful? She had a very big WHY! Her Why was for her children to finish studying, for her children to be successful, for her children to be well fed and well supported and for the family to survive. These reasons allowed her to keep on going, it fueled her dream to be successful.

Reach your dreams! Fuel it up! Start with your BIG WHY and from there, move forward and do what is needed.
