Turn a Deaf Ear to People Who Speaks Against You
We all have dreams and we want to reach them so badly, unfortunately it is not an easy road to take. When ever we want to succeed, trials and obstacles will always be in our way. That includes a lot of negative comments from people, even hating you for doing what you are doing - in other words, these are the noise that we hear against us.The Aspiring Musician
Long, long ago, a man loved singing so much that he kept singing everywhere he goes. Kidding aside, this man really loved to sing. He recorded his songs for his mother and the songs just stayed with his mother.
Not long after, he auditioned for a local quartet, unfortunately he failed and just went home.
"What happened? How did it go son?" asked the father.
"I did not make it. They told me I could not sing." replied the son.
He was basically turned down because his vocals did not bring harmony to the ear of others, basically his singing was so different.
He became a truck driver just so money could be placed in his pocket but he still have singing in his mind. A music company just opened and was looking for a vocalist. This young man did not waste any time and headed straight to the company to audition.
Unfortunately after the audition, he was turned down immediately. He was told to GO BACK BEING A TRUCK DRIVER and he was also given a painful advise:"Just stick to driving son because you are not going to make it as a singer."
He was under fire, no one at that time liked how he sing. He was rejected, he was ridiculed, turned down, people had a lot of bad things to say about him.
But he did not give up, he kept on doing what he loved and thought right, he just kept on singing and singing and singing until the day came. Someone actually took him as the lead vocalist. And one day, he became who the world knew, ELVIS PRESLEY.
He just ignored all the noise that people was saying against him and he became a huge success.
Ignore the noise
Are you under fire right now? Are there people who hates you and tells bad things about you because you are doing things that you need to reach your dreams?
IGNORE THE NOISE! If you want to be successful, you don't have to listen to every single person just to please them, specially if that person themselves have not reached success.
Listen to your mentors instead, to people who already reached success and has paid the price. Listen to the people who are already way ahead of you.Don't try to please everyone because we can't. Just like Elvis Presley, if he had listened to the advise and just went back to truck driving, he would not have reached this much success, even after death.
Keep doing the right thing. You will be successful!
God bless you!

We have to admit, there are a lot of times that we just want to throw in the towel. There are times that we tell ourselves that we cannot do it, that we're a goner. In fact, there are times that I just wanted to give up on a certain dream. But I did not stop because I know something great will happen soon and I believe good things happen to those who wait and do the hard work.

Even after failing, Edison moved on and still tried to create the light bulb. He just kept going and going until the light bulb was created.
Imagine if Edison stopped at experiment #999, would we ever have the light bulb? We might be using candles now if Edison had stopped!
Keep Moving Forward!
Have you ever failed and found it hard to move on? Well keep on moving forward. Once you fail, it will hurt and the memory of it will linger on but amid having those, just keep moving forward. How to do it? Just do it! Once you fail, feel the pain, cry, sulk, get angry but after that, leave it all behind and just keep moving forward.
Got a break up? Cry, feel the pain and after that, if nothing goes right, just keep moving forward. Financial downturn? Feel the pain, get angry, worry a little, after that, move forward and do what you must to solve the issue.
After all, we are human beings and we feel. Right after feeling, we must act. Do not get stuck on the feeling alone, we must be in motion too!
Do you want to reach your dreams? Drive success? Have the best relationship? Financial freedom? Successful family life? Just keep moving forward and do not give up and as you keep moving forward you will get your reward! Edison had his light bulb and you will get your dreams!
You'll never know that you are that close in reaching your dreams so just keep moving forward!
You'll never know that you are that close in reaching your dreams so just keep moving forward!
Just like this picture.
God bless you!

He Kept Failing and Became the President of the United States
FAILURE! One of the harshest word that I have ever encountered. Not only the word is harsh itself, the feeling is tormenting!
The Ultimate Failure
Once upon a time. A man by the name of Abraham Lincoln wanted to run for office. In 1832, Abe ran for State Legislator and lost.
In 1836, he had a nervous breakdown and was bed ridden for 6 months. In 1838, he ran for the speaker of the state legislature and lost.
In 1840, he sought to become elector but lost that. 1843 he ran for congress and lost that too! Some how on 1846 he ran again for congress and won! (Hooray!)
1848, ran for congress for re-election but lost. He instead looked for a job as land officer and got rejected. But he did not stop here, his dreams got bigger and bigger.
In 1854, he ran for senate and guess what? He lost! In 1856, he ran for the 2nd highest position of all, Vice President, the VP and, you guessed it, he lost! He was crumpled in defeat. He only got less than a hundred votes.
In 1858, maybe he decided that he was too ambitious to become VP so he ran again for sen
ate, amazingly he lost again!
ate, amazingly he lost again!
Talk about losing streak! I mean for a normal person, having all those defeat, one might say;
"I am not worth it.",
"I cannot do it. I am a failure. I better go back and just do what I can.".
Next to Failure is Success
Abraham Lincoln was not a normal person. After all those failures, he did not give up. He kept on running and running for a position. For us it would have been so embarrassing to keep on running and kept on failing. Abraham Lincoln might have felt the same but it did not stop him from doing what he wants!
In 1860, he ran for office and was elected as the President of the United States of America! Unbelievable! After failing a lot of times he managed to become the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!Friend, do you have a dream in your life? Have you ever failed the first time you attempted to reach that? Painful? Worrying? Scary? That's normal! Failing is normal for many of us. In fact, failing is the key to success considering that we learn from our failures.
If Abe Lincoln let failure stop him, America would not see him as president.
You may be experiencing failures in your life now, financial failures, in relationship, in your career, in your family or maybe in your business. DO NOT LET THAT STOP YOU! If you fall, pick yourself up and keep on walking! Learn from those mistakes and failures and you will have your biggest success ever!
I remember this saying from The Feast, "Just like a bow and arrow, the greater the pull, the greater it travels.". The same thing with our life, the greater our SETBACK, the GREATER our COMEBACK!
For Lincoln, his setbacks were extremely set back. Experiencing the same? Then I warn you, be ready for the greatest comeback that you will ever have!
Reach for your dreams and never give up!
God Bless you!

In the late 1933, a huge earthquake struck Japan and triggered a massive tsunami. In the small town of Fudai, hundreds of homes were destroyed and 439 people were killed.
Mayor Wamura could not believe his eyes. "When I saw bodies being dug up from the piles of earth, I did not know what to say. I had no words." he mentioned.
This triggered his motivation to do the craziest thing the town had never seen before. He started a project, a seawall so big that it would protect the villagers from any tsunami that would strike.
The town started to build a seawall of 51 feet. Another town had a seawall of 33 feet and this was considered to be very strong and is able to withstand any tsunami but Mayor Wamura had something else in mind.
After having erect the 51 foot seawall, Mayor Wamura was not satisfied, he had to build floodgates and it was as big as the seawall!
Here's the thing, everyone thought that it was a crazy idea. A lot of people thought that it was unnecessary for the mayor or the town to have a seawall as big as that!
He was criticized a lot and considered his project a waste of time and a waste of money! Imagine if you are at the town and you are seeing this happening.
Most probably Mayor Wamura heard these lines: "You crazy old man, you don't need that much! You are just wasting our money!" or "Get a life, don't waste your time on this. It won't work and a huge tsunami won't happen!".
Man, it must have been a hard time for Mayor Wamura. Regardless, the project overall was completed on 1994. The total bill was 3.56 billion Yen. (Around 1.25 billion Pesos today! That was so much back in 1994.)
3 years later, Mayor Wamura passed away.

The Unthinkable Happened!
On March 11, 2011. A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 9 shook Japan. The strong earthquake triggered a huge tsunami which took thousands of lives and destroyed hundreds of homes.
In connection with this massive quake, it managed to cause the Fukushima Daichi power plant to have a nuclear meltdown.
Tons of radio active water leaked and was unsafe for the town folks. Every thing was destroyed, communications, roads, power, ports, you name it, it was a huge wreck on that day.
Amidst all the damage, there was this one town that was barely unscathed, you guessed it, it was the town of Fudai. In fact according to news, they barely got wet!
How? It was because of the huge sea wall that was built. The man they doubted, laughed at and maybe considered insane saved their lives.
Today, towns people of Fudai visits the grave of former Mayor Wamura to pay their respects. He is now being considered as the small town hero.
See Yourself in the Future
In life, we have goals, we have plans. We have dreams on who we want to become! This is also called your vision in life because you already see what you want to become in the future.
You see, everyone can be a visionary, it is just so damn hard to reach your vision. A simple goal in life like "I want to get rich" is already a vision of yourself in the future. The question is, are you ready to take what it takes to be rich? To become who you really want to be? To reach your dream?
When you want to reach your vision, you will look weird. You are not the "norm". People will see you overworking yourself. People will think that you are wasting your time and resources. I tell you this, DON'T MIND THEM.
Do what you must to reach your dreams, do everything that you can to reach your dreams and one day, just like Mayor Wamura, you will be a hero to your loved ones.
Start envisioning what you want to be in your life. Act on it, don't delay and don't be scared. You may look weird at first but at the end, all success is just waiting for you there!
God bless you!
God bless you!
